Which is why he ignored his phone at first. But it was ringing excessively. He sighed, kissed Veronica gently, and said quietly, "Sorry." He reached over and picked up his phone with a grumble. "Yeah?" His voice exasperated. He listened to the voice on the other end of the phone for a moment, and then replied, "What!?" Pause. "No... No I have no idea..... I swear I haven't heard from him........ She's right here, actually. You want to talk to her?" He put his hand over the receiver and turned to Veronica. "Veronica... It's... It's your step-mom. She's wondering if we have any idea where Duncan's run off to." He hadn't even known Duncan had run off until now. And now a sudden pang of worry and guilt came over him. And not only did he want to know where Duncan had run off to, but why? Whatever was happening, it wasn't good. Wed, Jun. 28th, 2006, 02:01 pm
But here she was. And it wasn't half bad. Beaver was kind of cute, sort of funny and even though related to the infamous Dick, very non-Dick like. He liked weird things like Russian literature, real estate and bananna creme pie. He also had sarcasm, she like that. "...so I told Dick that he had better hide the dead squirrel or, or, ahahahaha, Kendall would never let him near the poolhouse again," Beaver said trying to catch his breath between laughs. Mac laughed loudly along with him and she smiled at Beaver. "That was a most excellent tale of valour and chivalry. So any deep dark secrets I need to know about you?" She said in her best flirty voice. She wasn't actually sure she knew what a flirty voice sounded like, but she had watched just enough OC to mimic it. Tue, Jun. 27th, 2006, 03:18 pm
As they entered the cabin that evening, Logan turned to look at a very drunk Dick, “How you holdin’ up, man?” Wed, May. 24th, 2006, 03:58 pm
He was a little cramped from sitting there so long. He turned to everyone in the car. “I say, we stop here. We can go and find dinner, too." Fri, May. 19th, 2006, 09:54 am
"Heya, Beaver, you all packed?" he shouted down the hall to his brother. "Yep," Beaver said back. He looked down at his perfectly packed suitcase. A pair of underwear, bottom, top and socks for everyday, along with a neat container of toiletries. Each thing had been folded in a neat square in its own area of the suitcase. He checked everything one last time and lugged the suitcase towards his brother's room. "I'm ready. Should we head on over to Logan's now?" Beaver asked. "Dude, if we leave now, we are going to be on time. Let's stop by McD's first for some grub and then we can head over there. I got a hangover I need to kill," Dick said with a grunt. They tossed everything in the car, grabbed some food and made their way to Logan's. In the driveway, there was one green Volkswagen bug, one yellow Xterra and Veronica's car. "When is Logan going to buy that chick a new car? It's such a piece of shit, I can't even be seen with 20 feet of it," Dick complained, as they walked towards the front door. Beaver rolled his eyes and made for the door. "Did you take that purity test thing that was floating around school, bro? I bet you scored like 500 percent pure?" Dick said as he hauled his backpack over his shoulder. His brother was such a geek. Beaver shook his head, "Didn't take it. I did hear that Veronica scored like an 8 or something." "Sweet." Dick said with a laugh and pushed Beaver to the side and rang the doorbell, just as the door was opening. Sun, May. 7th, 2006, 08:08 pm
She knew Keith was working on Lilly's case, and needed to find a time to get into his office to see how he was doing. But that would have to be another night. Right now, she was just plain lonely. Veronica picked up her phone and dialed Logan's cell without a second thought. Mon, May. 1st, 2006, 11:15 pm
All right, guys. It's now or never. Are we road trippin' or not? Cause the XTerra's ready to go. -Logan. [/email] Thu, Mar. 23rd, 2006, 01:34 pm

He'd be patient though. Or, try to be, at least. Between Lynn's disappearance and Kay's, he couldn't take any more drama. And Kay had a way of... getting into trouble. The car wreck, the drug bust, the trip to Cabo... Things would be easier if he kept an eye on her. So he sat. And waited. |
